Yes! Your campaign gift ensures the long-term sustainability of the GA experience, while your support of the Annual Fund each year has an immediate impact on programs and people across the school.

When a school depends primarily on annual tuition revenue to meet expenses, this results in higher tuition—and more demand for financial aid and less money for faculty compensation. Increasing our endowment will provide additional income that increases the sustainability of our human and financial resources. Continuing to support the Annual Fund also decreases our reliance on tuition revenue.

Our Moment has made incredible strides since its public launch in 2022. As of September 9, 2022, 73 generous donors have committed their support to our ambitious campaign. Germantown Academy plans to complete the Our Moment fundraising campaign by September 2028.

Increased demand for financial aid is a trend impacting independent schools everywhere and presents a major budgetary pressure. The need for financial aid among GA applicants has nearly doubled over the last decade. Increased endowed funding will help GA meet this need and minimize tuition increases.

Construction began on graduation day, June 10, 2022, and is slated to continue through the entire ensuing school year and summer with a planned opening in September of 2023.
